This deeply restorative ceremony is a sacred invitation for postpartum mothers to pause, reflect, and honour their journey into motherhood. Whether your baby arrived 24 hours ago or years have passed, Rebozo: Closing of the Bones offers a space to release, reconnect, and be held-physically, emotionally, and energetically. 🌿 What Is Closing of the Bones? Rooted in traditional Mexican postpartum care, this ceremony uses rebozos-woven shawls, to gently rock, hold, and wrap the body from head to toe. Each movement is intentional, designed to release tension, restore balance, and cocoon the mother in warmth and reverence. It is a ritual of closure, of honouring the passage through birth, and of welcoming the next phase of life. 🌸 What’s Included Sacred Space Creation: We begin by laying the rebozos and preparing a calm, energetically clear space using incense and intention. Gentle Rocking & Wrapping: Each rebozo is used in turn to cradle and rock the body, followed by a full-body cocoon wrap to symbolise containment, healing, and rebirth. Energetic Clearing: Incense and sacred intention are used to release stagnant energy and invite nurturing, positive vibrations. Optional Enhancements: Choose from soothing music or a sacred drumming ceremony to deepen the experience while wrapped. Grounding Touch Points: Gentle touch is offered to anchor your energy and bring you back into your body with care. Herbal Nourishment: A warm herbal tea is served to nourish and close the session with softness and warmth. 🌼 Baby Loss & Healing This ceremony is also offered to those who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss at any stage. It is a tender, sacred space to honour grief, love, and healing.
